I am right at the beginning of my sisterlocks 'journey' and very pleased and proud that I finally made the decision. Being a tad surprised (shocked?) at my thin hair, I thought that I would chart my progress and share my experience with a community of people both looking to start or already on their sisterlock voyage. (Do not make copies of my photos!!)
It is with great pride and celebration that I announce a new sisterlocker and fellow sisterlock-blogger: my sister 'Aya!' (These 'secret' names are so funny. She doesn't know why I have chosen mine either, but it is bizarre to speak in code with someone I'm so close to)! Please check out her blog here. This makes three sisterlockers and one twists-to-locks in my family. BTW, they all have the thick hair, pooh!

I wish I were so creative that I could write about myself in 1200 characters (or less).
